Bellator 179’s tape-delayed Friday show garnered interest after word spread across the internet that two of the promotions top two fighters got into a brawl in the crowd following the show’s main event.

Rory MacDonald defeated Paul Daley by submission in the second round to win the main event. Undaunted however, Daley blasted rival British fighter Michael Page after his loss. Page was sitting ringside.

When Daley exited the ring, it was at the entrance where Page was sitting. Daley then rushed Page. The two exchanged blows to the delight of the London crowd, leading to a post- main event scrap that finally cleared up after several rows of chairs were toppled, a few punches were thrown and enough security intervened.
